Job Description: We're seeking a skilled and creative Bench Jeweler to join our diverse team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work on both production and custom pieces. This position will be in view of the public, offering customers insight into the craftsmanship behind our jewelry.

Key Responsibilities:

⚬ Fabricate, assemble, and repair jewelry pieces.

⚬ Set stones in various types of jewelry.

⚬ Perform casting operations for jewelry production.

⚬ Operate laser equipment for welding and engraving.

⚬ Perform quality control checks on finished pieces.

⚬ Collaborate with jewelers, designers and sales team on custom orders.

⚬ Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

⚬ Adhere to safety protocols and industry best practices.

⚬ Interact professionally with customers who may observe your work.

Qualifications:

⚬ Minimum 2 years of experience as a bench jeweler.

⚬ Proficiency in various jewelry-making techniques (soldering, stone setting, polishing, etc.).

⚬ Experience with precious metals and gemstones.

⚬ Familiarity with casting processes and equipment.

⚬ Experience operating laser welding and engraving machines.

⚬ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and designs.

⚬ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

⚬ Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

⚬ Basic computer skills.

⚬ Professional and polished appearance.

⚬ Comfort working in a visible, public-facing environment.

⚬ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with customers professionally.

Additional Skills (Desirable but not essential):

⚬ Spanish language skills.

⚬ Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele.

⚬ Experience with CAD/CAM software for jewelry design.

⚬ Familiarity with 3D printed models in jewelry production.

⚬ Knowledge of latest trends and technologies in jewelry manufacturing.
